Kay Kollar graduated from the Cooper Union School of Architecture and Art. As an interior designer, she applied invisible, intuitive, poetic and practical sounds to the design; enhanced the sense of status in the building and made the people living inside feel a sense of belonging.

Working with like-minded architects, Kay Kollar often uses color and design collages to guide the original intent of the building she sees. She mixes hundreds of colors, finds the right array of tones, and combines architectural details to rejuvenate some of California's luxury homes.
